We are delighted to announce the successful conclusion of our eTwinning project, “Talking Paintings,” involving class 2A of the Liceo Artistico Apolloni. This innovative international collaboration brought together students from various countries to engage in creative and technologically advanced tasks.
Project Overview
The core aim of “Talking Paintings” was to foster international collaboration through interactive tasks. Students worked diligently in diverse international groups, focusing on interviewing famous characters depicted in meaningful paintings from their respective cultural backgrounds. The project leveraged a range of cutting-edge digital tools, including Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI), to bring these artworks to life.
In a dedicated common digital space, chatbots and infographics were developed and made accessible, allowing visitors to interact and gather information about the project and the artworks. The Final Product: A Live Museum The culmination of this ambitious project was the creation of a “live museum,” featuring the “talking paintings” meticulously crafted by the international student groups. This unique exhibition offered visitors an immersive experience, allowing them to engage directly with the historical and cultural narratives embedded within the artworks, presented through the innovative digital creations.
